How to Perform the Yatra
Traditionally, devotees walk the entire 84 kos barefoot, taking 7-10 days. Today, many opt for vehicle-based yatras that can be completed in 3-4 days. The yatra is typically performed in a clockwise direction, starting from Mathura.

It is believed that performing the 84 Kos Yatra with devotion washes away sins and grants spiritual merit. The yatra is especially auspicious during the holy month of Kartik and on special occasions like Janmashtami.
